Salary: £23,400 per annum, plus company benefits

Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am until 5:30pm with 1 hours unpaid lubreak

Purpose of role
The Legal Administrator’s principal role is to provide the client with the administrative support they need to provide seamless legal services to their customers and help them maximise the amount of time they can spend on fee-earning tasks.
The Legal Administrator will be responsible for completing defined legal administrative tasks, working within the client systems from the ISC while adhering to all client processes, protocols and policies.
Key responsibilities
Attending on receipt of instructions from Fee Earners and carrying out said instructions in accordance with the standard operating proceduresCarrying out electronic checks and client due diligence in accordance with the Anti-Money Laundering regulationsSending out standard emailsUpdating data on CRM systemCall handling as neededProviding a defined administrative service, including file opening and closing, following standard operating proceduresEnsuring all work is completed to the highest standardRaising queries and concerns with designated individuals, as requiredRecording tasks and other management information, as requiredCompleting reporting tasks, as requiredProducing and maintaining Excel spreadsheets, where requiredLiaising with fee earners, PAs, secretaries and other business support departments as requiredContacting customers of client firms to gain personal and/or matter related informationTaking an active role in the care of clients and being wholly familiar with all processesPersonal attributes
A legal administrator values quality and delivery of work above all else and has the responsibility to ensure that their skill set is up to date and they are familiar with the company and client’s departments, key personnel, internal systems and procedures. This will ensure that they are able to carry out their role effectively and, where appropriate, discuss any training requirements with their line manager.
