The PositionAs Legal and Compliance Partner (LCP) you will play a critical role in ensuring that our pharmaceutical operations adhere to all relevant laws, regulations and internal policies. You will provide strategic legal advice and compliance guidance across multiple areas of the business, including regulatory affairs, commercial operations, clinical trials, product development, marketing practices, risk management, business continuity management and GDPR.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations, a strong legal background, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Career Opportunities and Challenges
Coordinate local compliance endeavors, ensures that the Roche Group Code of Conduct is consistently complied with, conducts risk based compliance monitoring and supports all local compliance initiatives
Prepare and draft of legal documents
Oversee the process of contract management
Provide a retrieval of of professional information in legal sources (e.g. professional literature, press, internet, ASPI)
Drive healthcare compliance activities (i.e. monitoring, R & O assessment, advise, co-creation of solutions, gaps analysis and risk detection)
Participate on local Standard Operation Processes (SOPs) creation related to legal & compliance
Coordinate communication with external legal advisor and/or State Authorities on affiliate’s legal matters (if needed)
Actively participate on revision, creation and implementation of GDRP related documents and training for the affiliate
Provide support to License to Operate Lead with coordination of vital projects, initiatives and activities related to the affiliate´s reputation and compliance
Support the local affiliate to foster a mindset/culture of compliance (ensure all employees are aware/trained of correct business behaviour, monitor and control business ethics, support, execute and follow up the local compliance, safety and quality concerns, following the rules and regulation of Roche global policies and guidelines and the local legislation)
Who You Are
University Law Degree
Demonstrated work experience in a similar role within pharmaceutical domain or healthcare sector (minimum of 1 year)
Work experience with drafting and preparing legal documents
Knowledge of all relevant legislation, guidelines and industry policies is required
Advanced skills with MS Office tools, experience working within G-suit (G-sheets, G-forms, G-slides, etc.) is a plus
English language written and spoken fluency, local language at native level is a must
High level of verbal and written communication skills (e.g. communicating opinions, recommendations and fact-based topics clearly and concisely)
Ability to handle complex topics and drive informative decisions
High integrity, discretion and compliance values
Proven prioritization skills, persistency to drive to achieve objectives
Create functional relationships and collaboration across cross-departments with colleagues over whom he/she has no direct authority
Accepts change and adapts to fast-paced environment with changing conditions
Salary starts from 2500 EUR gross/month. Final salary depends on the level of experience, skills and qualifications.
