FOX Corporation is looking for a Legal Assistant, Music to join their team!

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform executive assistant duties including booking travel, expense reports, answering telephones, preparing and sending correspondence, and file management Assist with monitoring legal agreements and providing evidence of copyright ownership to the music publishing administratorInput copyright information into internal repositoryResearch claims asserted against company Draft standard form agreements and other legal documents Draft and send letters and other routine correspondence Review and summarize contracts Collect and analyze information Type and revise agreements, charts, memoranda, correspondence and other documents Liaise with IT, office services, and other internal personnel to resolve day-to-day issues and handle administrative matters Maintain an organized and up-to-date filing system for reporting, litigations and corporate matters Create physical and electronic files; search and retrieve files on an ongoing basisOther duties as assigned by supervisors

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Advanced computer experience: Microsoft Word (including tables and redlining), Excel, Internet Copyright (ideally music) licensing or legal experiencePrior paralegal or contract analysis experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills; extremely detail-oriented Excellent typing and computer skills, including in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Exhibits professional demeanor and sound judgment Follows up on delegated assignments through completion Self-starter, who takes initiative and is resourceful; takes ownership of tasks and projects Ability to multi-task and prioritize; works well under pressure Ability to work autonomously and collaborativelyBA or BS degree from an accredited college or university

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $22.25-28.37 per hour for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
