Description Position Title: Legal Administrative Assistant – Transactional Practice Group Location: Bethesda, MD (100% Onsite) Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Administrative Assistant to support a busy transactional practice group. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting two partners and a senior paralegal within our clients' transactional practice group. This role will involve general administrative tasks as well as more detailed support for attorneys, such as making document revisions from handwritten notes and assisting with tech issues. Key Responsibilities: + Provide comprehensive administrative support to 2-3 attorneys, including a senior partner. + Perform administrative tasks such as preparing case opening sheets, check requests, expense reports, printing, scanning, copying, filing, and some billing tasks. + Assist attorney with document revisions, phone calls, and resolving computer or tech-related issues. + Organize and facilitate virtual meetings, including scheduling, coordinating logistics, and ensuring all technical aspects are in place. + Process and manage incoming and outgoing mail, including scanning, saving, and distributing documents. + Assist with client intake forms, ensuring all necessary information is collected and processed accurately. + Enter attorney time and billing information into the firm’s timekeeping and billing system. + Perform general office tasks, including maintaining files, handling correspondence, and assisting with other administrative duties as required. Requirements Qualifications: + At least 3 years of legal experience is required. + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. + Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with virtual meeting platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams. + Tech-savvy with the ability to assist with basic technical issues. + Patience and a positive attitude are essential + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
