Legal Assistant
Description Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our in-house legal team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in corporate law and demonstrated experience managing legal matters in a multi-entity and subsidiary environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support a fast-paced and collaborative legal department. Key Responsibilities: + Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing corporate documents, including contracts, resolutions, and governance materials. + Maintain and update corporate records, minute books, and compliance filings for multiple entities and subsidiaries. + Coordinate with external counsel and stakeholders to ensure compliance with corporate regulations and deadlines. + Support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions by managing documents and tracking project timelines. + Conduct legal research and compile findings for attorney review. + Facilitate communication between the legal team and internal departments on corporate legal matters. + Manage calendaring for corporate compliance, board meetings, and filing deadlines. + Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, organizing files, and preparing presentations. Requirements Qualifications: + Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in an in-house corporate legal environment. + Proficiency in managing legal matters for multi-entity and subsidiary structures. + Strong understanding of corporate law, governance, and compliance. + Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. + Proficiency in legal and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, document management systems). + Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
