About the role:

As a TQL Legal Compliance Analyst you will assist the Legal Department in the development, enhancement, retention, and documentation of compliance-related activities. Responsibilities include processing the compilation, maintenance and analysis of compliance-related data and records. The Legal Compliance Analyst will maintain effective tracking and ongoing monitoring of compliance of organizational processes and functions for TQL, its affiliates and subsidiaries

What you’ll be doing: 

\n\nResearch laws and regulations pertinent to TQL and its affiliates and subsidiaries\nPrepares and maintains manuals, policies, and procedures to maintain compliance with various laws and regulations\nOversees implementation and monitoring of compliance manuals, policies, and procedures\nIdentifies gaps in documentation, or potential areas of non-compliance, and suggests resolutions\nKeeps other TQL departments and subsidiaries and affiliates abreast of relevant legal and regulatory requirements and coordinates compliance activities among the various departments, subsidiaries and/or affiliates\nPrepares relevant reports relating to legal compliance activities by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information\nMaintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards\nContributes to team effort by accomplishing other tasks as needed\nAudits and analyzes systems and processes to ensure compliance with external and internal standards

What you need: 

\n\nBachelor’s degree preferred\n2-4 years of experience in legal, compliance, audit or working knowledge of laws and/or regulations\nExceptional analytical, verbal, organizational and written communication skills\nAcute attention to detail\nProficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)\nProficient in the use of the internet for legal research
