YOUR IMPACT 

Joining the OpenText Southern Europe legal team means being part of a group of friendly and supportive people where respect and exchanges of thoughts between them are put first.  You will become a key collaborator, playing a decisive role in executing the missions entrusted to team members.
 

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

Drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements including cloud, license, and professional service contracts across a wide range of software offerings Providing dedicated legal support to sales teams based in Southern Europe (areas of support include France, Spain, Italy, and Portugal), helping them to close deals in a quarter-driven environment Thinking on your feet to work with the business to solve issues as they arise Working as part of the global legal team on initiatives to improve legal provision across OT Building positive working relationships with stakeholders across the business to enable you to obtain up-to-date information and provide excellent solutions to negotiation issues Working towards a deeper knowledge of our business and how best to support it Handling general corporate matters; resolving commercial disputes and dealing with data protection considerations Not to mention the fact that carrying out the above assignments will enable you to develop your knowledge and expertise in all these fields


WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED 

We are looking for a full-time lawyer.  You might be moving from private practice or already in-house and should have at least 5 years post post-qualified experience You are commercially minded, keen to learn about the business, and embed yourself as a key part of it You are enthusiastic, hard-working and you enjoy working in a team environment You can manage your caseload and be confident and assertive but flexible and professional You are a problem solver and use/able to provide commercially focused advice in a time-pressured environment  Fluent French and English language skills, both written and spoken in combination with a clear communication style
