Ready for the challenge? Join us! WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Provide expert legal counsel on complex local and international matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Draft, review, and negotiate high-stakes contracts and agreements across various business units with a focus on corporate transactions (M&A) and commercial agreements in close collaboration with other disciplines Serve as a key legal advisor in business strategy, contributing to decision-making processes. Manage relationships with external legal firms, overseeing case handling and budget control. Represent Mammoet in negotiations and legal proceedings, ensuring the company's best interests are protected. Lead legal risk assessments and proactively identify solutions to mitigate potential risks. Stay updated on changes in legislation, ensuring the business adapts to new legal requirements. WHAT YOU’LL NEED Master’s degree in business law or a related discipline. At least 8 years of relevant experience in legal affairs within an international commercial environment. Expert-level proficiency in corporate transactional work (M&A) and commercial law Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and verbal. Strong decision-making skills with the ability to take initiative and act decisively. Commitment to principles and values, ensuring alignment with legal and ethical standards. Effective networking and relationship-building skills for successful cross-functional collaboration. Analytical skills to interpret and respond to complex legal information.
