We are seeking a Legal Counsel for a client in Manama, Bahrain.

Legal Responsibilities: Advice on the strategic planning purposes & decision-making processes in order to ensure maximum protection of the company’s legal rights & maintenance of its operations within the limits prescribed by law. Act as the main legal advisor for the company in all legal matters including, but not limited to contracts and business agreements. Provide direction regarding legal matters where necessary and maintain appropriate records. Ensure that the company is in compliance with all legal requirements and all applicable laws and regulations locally and internationally. Participate, as required, in contractual negotiations and represent the company in all legal proceedings. Prepare the Company’s standard legal documentation including documents to meet regulatory and risk requirements. Formulate policies and procedures for the minimization of legal risks. Review and analyze all applicable national and international laws & regulations to determine their significance and impact on the company. Keep abreast of legal, regulatory, and other developments within the region and internationally. Analyze and anticipate the associated impact on the company’s business and strategy. Respond to all complaints made against the company where the matter involves a regulatory agency. Agree clear performance objectives; implement a development and training plan for employees within the department and conduct annual appraisals.
Qualifications:  Bachelor's Degree in Law Relevant years of experience as Legal Counsel.
