Job DescriptionProvide comprehensive legal advice and support to Continental’s business colleaguesDraft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements to be entered into with or concerning Korean customers and business partnersWork closely with other members of the Global Law Department and coordinate legal strategies for Continental's businesses with Korean customers and business partnersCollaborate with various internal stakeholders, including top management, strategy, sales, engineering, and finance, to ensure a thorough understanding of legal implications and risks associated with Korean customer and business partner related strategies and decisionsProvide legal training and guidance to various business colleagues, particularly in relation to contracts and business practices with Korean customers and business partnersRepresent Continental in legal disputes, negotiations, and settlements with external parties, including Korean customers and business partners, suppliers, and regulatory authoritiesDevelop and implement risk management strategies to minimize legal exposure for ContinentalAnalyze and address legal implications of new or revised regulations on Continental’s business operations in and outside of KoreaProvide proactive legal guidance and counsel to support the launch of new products or business initiatives by ContinentalManage various types of litigations relating to matters concerning Korean customers and business partnersSupport other legal matters and topics concerning Continental’s businesses in Korea as may be required from time to time as a member of the Korea Law DepartmentQualificationsA Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal qualification from an accredited law schoolLicense to practice law in Korea (Member of Korean Bar Association)Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, preferably with a focus on the automotive industrySignificant experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating various commercial contracts in Korean and EnglishStrong knowledge of Korean laws and regulations, preferably those relevant to the automotive industryExcellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues across various functions and regionsFluency in English, both written and spoken, is requiredAdditional InformationYou can apply this position with submission of Application Form.
