We are seeking a Legal Counsel to support our growing team in Asia, reporting to the Asia Legal Director. This role involves contract review, corporate legal advisory, and compliance oversight, including engagement with healthcare providers, adherence to medical industry standards, and managing regulatory compliance. **Responsibilities:** + Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, including distributor and master service agreements. + Provide legal counsel on corporate matters, ensuring regulatory compliance and risk mitigation. + Oversee compliance with medical industry regulations, including engagement with healthcare providers and government regulators. + Ensure adherence to industry standards for medical events, advertising, and promotional materials. + Conduct compliance reporting, due diligence, and risk assessments for healthcare provider engagements. + Monitor and enforce compliance with AML, anti-competition, and anti-trust laws. + Manage compliance-related issues across Asia, driving regulatory best practices and governance. **Candidate Requirements:** + 4+ years PQE with experience in the area of legal and compliance. + Preferably from the pharmaceutical or medical device industry. + Experience in compliance within the medical industry is highly desirable embecta is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.  We do not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, age, sex, creed, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, marital or domestic or civil union status, familial status, affectional or sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetics, disability, military eligibility or veteran status, or any other protected status.
