You Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure corporate compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Draft and review the standard agreement, contract and relevant legal documents (e.g. distributor agreement, confidentiality, official letter, commercial collaboration etc.).
Conduct regular legal risk assessment and set-up the mitigation plan accordingly
Implement global code and processes locally based on newly developed policy or guidelines
Provide legal and privacy training to internal and external stakeholders
Perform regular reporting in accordance with global and local regulations. (e.g. litigation report etc.)
Provide the legal consultation or advice as necessary
2. Manage privacy governance and processes
Establish privacy procedures and relevant documentation. (SOPs, Privacy policy, Yearly Plan, consent form etc.)
Support company privacy risk assessment in line with global and local policy and regulations
Support the gap analysis and implement global platform locally in accordance with KR privacy regulations
Review and update internal system.(e.g. e-Consent form, Privacy related system)
Provide the legal review and advice as necessary
3. Manage the personal information protection
Regularly assess and enhance personal information processing practices.Address complaints and resolve damages related to personal information processingImplement systems to prevent leakage, misuse, or abuse of personal data.Develop and execute legal training and privacy education plans for staff.4. Improve Legal and Compliance culture and guidelines
Implementation of KR version of global and regional policy or guideline (e.g. competition/antitrust/dawn raid, SHE, data privacy, intellectual property etc.)
Closely monitor trends or changes of relevant global, regional and local requirement and standards
5. Handing of legal documents and corporate secretary documentation.
Manage corporate secretory processes and documents (e.g. AGM/BOD/EGM)
Manage legal documents and repository
6. Support Legal litigation or Investigation (e.g. down raid, KR government authority)
Coordinate the internal processes related to legal litigation and investigation case
Support to implement any follow-up actions related to legal litigation or investigation
Manage litigation case or Investigation documents
Who you are
-Bachelor’s degree in Law or Qualified to practice law in Korea (Lawyer preferred)
-At least 2 years working experience in law firm or pharmaceutical/Medical Device industry
-Responding to data privacy breach cases
-Interaction with the global or regional project team and external lawyer
-Review and consult in case of legal, compliance, privacy matters
