In this role, you will provide crucial legal advice to our business units worldwide, working with a dedicated team in a dynamic and innovative environment. Based in Ingelheim, your role will be pivotal in fostering cross-functional collaboration and contributing to the success of our AH Business Unit. Tasks & responsibilitiesIn your new role, you will be a strategic business partner to the Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health (AH) Global Supply team, collaborating with ROPU/OPU and cross-functional leaders as well as international legal colleagues.As Legal Counsel you will provide a broad range of legal services including strategic legal advice on corporate projects and regional topics with global impact.You will draft, negotiate, and manage a broad variety of contracts such as contracts with alliance partners, CMOs and API suppliers for the global supply of animal health products.As business partner for the AH Quality team, you will support AH specific quality topics including SOPs / AH Site Inspection or AH Task Forces and join the group of lawyers counselling CAC cases. Moreover, you will provide legal advice to our global function AH Global Commercial Business supporting projects with global key customers like large corporate clinic groups, food producers, or (e-)retailers as well as projects to driving commercial excellence.You will assist the business to understand which impact decisions may have and to realize associated risks and opportunities because you know the business and think yourself like an entrepreneur.Finally, being a passionate lawyer, you will monitor the development of relevant local and international laws and regulations to anticipate business relevant legal trends and create corresponding legal strategies to deliver a competitive edge.RequirementsGerman qualified lawyer or similar qualificationLong-term relevant experience in the pharma and/or animal health industryExpertise in drafting and negotiating complex agreements in an international environment and in providing council on commercial mattersGood knowledge of international contract law and relevant commercial law including healthcare law as well as basic understanding of GMP and other manufacturing/quality related regulations Business partner oriented, proactive, and outcome-driven mindset with a strong ability to build professional relations at all levels of the businessExcellent judgment on legal and compliance risks and business opportunitiesBusiness proficiency in written and spoken EnglishReady to contact us? If you have any questions about the job posting or process - please contact our HR Direct Team, Tel: +49 6132 77-3330 or via mail: hr.de@boehringer-ingelheim.com. Recruitment process:Step 1: Online application - application deadline is February 28th, 2025.
