Job DescriptionUnder the supervision of the Data Protection Officer Europe and the Deputy Global DPO, you will be part of the Data & Privacy team within the Legal Department, collaborating with all Ubisoft teams.
In this role:
You will contribute to implementing internal actions and improving procedures to ensure Ubisoft's compliance with personal data protection regulations, particularly in safeguarding the rights of Ubisoft players, employees, and candidates. You will negotiate the personal data aspects of contracts with Ubisoft's partners and service providers, thereby contributing to Ubisoft's legal security and privacy compliance. You will support operational teams, particularly publishing teams, in their innovative activities. You will help develop Ubisoft's documentation (e.g., privacy impact assessments, updates to privacy policies, etc.). You will conduct audits of Ubisoft's procedures and data processing activities. You will train Ubisoft employees on personal data protection (in-person, via videoconferencing, or through innovative formats). You will identify potential local requirements, anticipate legislative, regulatory, and case law developments, and propose appropriate measures. You will monitor technological developments to foresee future trends and practices in video games and entertainment. QualificationsRelevant experience
You have significant initial experience as a legal counsel or attorney. During these experiences, you specifically handled matters related to personal data protection and are eager to dedicate yourself fully to these topics as part of an expert team.
Skills and knowledge
You have a strong command of English (fluent written and spoken), enabling you to communicate effectively with international teams on a daily basis. You have a solid understanding of personal data protection regulations (particularly GDPR) and their application. You demonstrate rigor, possess excellent interpersonal skills, are proactive, autonomous, and enjoy working as part of a team. Your energy is highly valued, and you have proven experience in managing projects collaboratively.
