Job Description

The Legal Director (Transactions Management) role involves:

Responsible for drafting all finance documents, working closely with credit and compliance to ensure all approvals and documentation is in placeStrong project management skills - handling multiple transactions (typically 5-10 at any time)Provide strategic guidance on legal issues affecting the organizationEnsure the company's legal compliance with relevant US laws and regulationsReview and negotiate contracts and agreementsAdvise on legal risks and mitigation strategiesCoordinate with other departments to ensure legal complianceRepresent the company, supporting other teams, attending client meetings and guiding on solutions and best approach to client lending needs

The Successful Applicant

The successful 'Legal Director' will have the following:

A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited US law schoolNY State barPracticed law, preferably in-house within a financial setting for 7+ years post J.D.Excellent negotiation, communication and collaboration skillsBackground providing financial transaction and lending legal advice across departments and to senior stakeholders/ board membersHigh degree of initiative, professional ethics and integrityWhat's on Offer

The successful Legal Director, Financial Transactions will receive:
