This role requires bilingual fluency, both written and spoken.
Position Overview:
The Legal Immigration Specialist will have experience working with immigrants. Will provide immigration information, consultation, and assistance in completing all immigration paperwork needed for the families to remain safely in the United States. Will assist other team members with the development of training materials and or understanding of family’s needs. In conjunction with Family Engagement Manager will conduct orientations and information workshops based on the needs of immigrants arriving at the site. Will meet with families once per week.
Will need to be flexible as some late afternoons/early evenings and occasional Saturdays may be needed.
Position Qualifications:
Juris Doctor preferred but will accept candidates who are a recent law school graduate working towards admission to N. Y. Bar.
