As a Legal Intern you will have an opportunity to work with a best-in-class team of legal professionals and business operators to further Databricks’ mission of enabling data teams to solve the world’s toughest problems — from making the next mode of transportation a reality to accelerating the development of medical breakthroughs. Working directly with our global legal team, you will gain practical experience and develop an understanding of how an in-house legal team helps the business operate. In this role, you will be provided the resources, mentoring and feedback to grow “beyond the classroom” and have the opportunity to counsel on novel legal issues related to our products and business.
This is a hybrid position (in-office 3x/week) located in either our San Francisco or Mountain View office. You will be supporting our team on legal matters across a variety of practice areas, including: Commercial and Go-to-Market, Product and Privacy, Intellectual Property, Compliance and Ethics, Corporate, Employment and Litigation. In addition, you will join our company-wide 2025 summer intern cohort and have the opportunity to connect and network with interns and leaders across the company (e.g., sales, marketing, engineering) throughout the summer.

Current law student expected to graduate in 2027 (Current 1L) with a strong record of academic performance Strong legal, analytical, judgment, organizational, advocacy, negotiation and program management skills High-level legal drafting skills commensurate with level of legal education to date Prior background and/or strong interest in technology, data analytics and AI Eagerness to learn about Databricks technology and legal issues relevant to our business Undergraduate degree in a technical, science background and/or equivalent professional experience preferredAdditional Program Details:

Pay Range Transparency

The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
