Job Purpose
EnerSys®, a NYSE listed company, is seeking a qualified 1L or 2L for an internship in its Legal Department for the summer of 2025. The summer internship is a paid, 10-12-week opportunity. Our Legal Department will introduce you to the practice of law in a corporate legal setting, including exposure to contracts, human resources and labor/employment matters, compliance matters, intellectual property matters, and legal research. We expect our intern to contribute to meaningful projects in our in-house legal department. In this role, you can expect to grow professionally and support the Legal Department with review, research, participation, and contribution to projects in diverse areas of law.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support team with current projects and initiatives Assist with special assignments Observe team members and learn about their role in the business Legal research and writingQualifications Current enrollment as a first-year or second-year student in a full-time law degree program. Demonstrated strong verbal, written, communications and presentation skills. Demonstrated independent thinking, relationship management, and attention to detail. Demonstrated analytical and leadership skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. A solid academic record and a minimum GPA of 3.0 Availability to work for 10-12 weeks at our global headquarters in Reading, Pennsylvania.
