Legal Intern - US/Canada

The Ingredion US/Canada Commercial Legal Team is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic law student for an internship during the summer of 2025 and continuing part-time through the 2025-2026 academic year. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with Legal Team members as well as various members of Ingredion’s business teams. We are looking for someone with a great service attitude, focus on detail, confidence and the ability to interact with business professionals.

Your responsibilities will include:

Actively participate in US/Canada Commercial Legal Team meetingsSupport US/Canada Legal Team members in revising non-disclosure agreements, vendor/supplier agreements, professional services agreements and other operational contractsAssist with subpoena responsesConduct legal research as neededSupport integration of Contract Lifecycle Management projectFoster a work culture of operational excellence to enhance Customer ExperienceBuild and maintain internal client relationships

The Legal Intern position is well-suited for you if you:

Qualified candidates will have:

Progress towards a J.D. degree with a minimum GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 preferredAbility to work 40 hrs per week during the summer internship programAbility to work 15-20 hrs per week during the 2025-2026 academic yearStrong business insight and continuous improvement skillsGeneral knowledge of Microsoft OfficeOutstanding attention to detail with verbal and written communication skillsReliable transportation required to get to and from Westchester headquarters each work day
