Legal Marketing Strategy Director, Government & Risk

We are seeking an experienced, digitally savvy, and data-driven leader for a Legal Marketing Strategy Director, Government & Risk role to drive robust and integrated marketing demand generation strategies for the Government Legal & Risk markets. This is a strategic and cross-functional leadership role who works closely with the segment President, General Managers and sales leadership as well as across multiple marketing capabilities.  This role requires strong experimentation, innovation and cross-functional leadership, and requires a self-motivated individual with strong analytical background and communication skills. 

About the Role

In this opportunity as the Legal Marketing Strategy Director, Government & Risk, you will:

Deeply understand the Government segments’ go-to-market strategies, insights, personas, customer segmentation, competitive intelligence to translate business goals into marketing strategies.Partner closely across the marketing organization to bring strategies and plans to life through thoughtful planning, integration of relevant content and effective translation into demand gen programs and activities.Own creation, planning and activation of innovative marketing strategies for the Gov Legal and Gov Risk segments, with strong focus on transforming and optimizing digital channels, partnering closely with sales, demand gen and product marketing groups to build and align on upfront strategy and prioritizationForecast, measure, analyze and report the impact of campaign and demand gen activities on marketing and sales pipeline, revenue and demand funnel velocity.Delivery of effective marketing strategies to fuel sales funnel and build pipeline, from marketing qualified lead to closed saleContinually monitor success of planning process and identify efficiencies, opportunities to optimize, leverage best practices, etc.Consistently monitor performance data of assigned sub-segment; Derive insight and action items to leadership team and key stakeholders throughout the business.

About You

You're a fit for the role of Legal Marketing Strategy Director, Government & Risk if your background includes: 

Must be based in the United States8+ years of experience in demand gen, digital marketing, or growth marketing, with deep understanding of marketing frameworks and channel mix activationStrong leadership, collaboration, teamwork and relationship-building skills across multiple levels and functions in the organizationProven ability to develop and implement demand gen strategies and campaignsStrong analytical skills with experience in forecasting, measuring, and reporting on marketing metricsExcellent collaboration and communication skills with ability to work with cross-functional teamsABM and Government industry-specific experience a plus; deep understanding of modern demand generation technologies, platforms and systems

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $135,800 - $252,200.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
