The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Description

Liberty Mutual Insurance has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Office Manager. In this position you will coordinate the operation of the Legal Office including the management of non-exempt personnel and the resolution of personnel and office/operational issues.

Responsibilities:

Provide a broad range of administrative and advanced level secretarial duties.Handle administrative tasks of confidential nature requiring initiative and judgment necessary for the operation of the legal office exercising initiative and judgment on a regular basis.

Note: This position is fully remote; however, those that are located within a 50-mile radius of our Fort Lauderdale or Miami, Florida offices may have the option to work in the office. Please note that this policy is subject to change.

Qualifications Bachelors degree preferred - equivalent experience considered; minimum 3 to 5 years of law office experience required.Paralegal certificate/experience and financial experience desirable.Administrative, supervisory, interpersonal skills.Ability to organize and prioritize work and communicate operational procedures to non-exempt staff.Knowledge of legal terminology, court practices and procedures.Requires broad knowledge of personal computers and software applications.Strong management skills are essential.
