LEGAL OPERATIONS ANALYST
**Description** Legal Operations Analyst Purpose and Scope/General Summary: An hour north of Denver and ideally situated between Boulder, Fort Collins, and Greeley, JBS is the largest company headquartered in Colorado and one of the largest food companies in the world. We are seeking a Legal Operations Analyst to provide high-level administrative and operational support to our legal department. As Legal Operations Analyst, you’ll be the backbone of our legal team, ensuring smooth daily operations and providing essential support for our attorneys. You’ll collaborate with team members on special projects, assist with invoicing and law firm relationships, and manage critical administrative functions. What You’ll Do + Analyze legal spend data and assist the Legal Operations Manager with reporting. + Strategize for and execute process improvements to enhance department efficiency. + Liaise with company Finance and HR teams and ensure compliance with payment, reporting, and accrual requirements. + Process law firm invoices, monitor payments, and liaise with vendors. + Organize and maintain legal documents, ensuring compliance with retention policies. + Assist with matter intake and tracking to support legal team workflows. + Maintain repository of Legal resources and process documentation. + Coordinate team schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements. + Collaborate with the Legal Operations Manager on special projects, data entry, and operational tasks. + Track attorney bar licensing requirements and ensure timely renewal across jurisdictions. + Identify high-impact educational opportunities for team and coordinate Continuing Legal Education (CLE) activities accordingly. + Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to legal technology. + Help plan team events and maintain internal communications. + Other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For: + Associate degree or equivalent work experience required, Bachelor’s degree preferred. + 5+ years of experience in legal or administrative support (combination preferred). + Familiarity with legal billing systems a plus (e.g., CounselLink, Legal Tracker) and Microsoft Office Suite. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Strong organizational and multitasking skills. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Maintain a positive attitude including while working under pressure. + Perform ad hoc administrative tasks as necessary to assist in the day-to-day operations of the Legal team. + Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality due to access to information of a highly sensitive nature. + Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation + As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits: + Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment; + Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays; + 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule; + Base salary range of $75,000 - $85,000; + Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and + Career Development:Our company is dedicated to supporting professional growth by offering continuous learning opportunities and a focus on career growth through various learning and development programs.
