Palantir’s dynamic in-house legal team works to proactively address legal issues so that Palantir can continue to drive positive impact in the world. Legal Operations is the organisational backbone of the legal team at Palantir. Legal Operations is a mission-focused team that strives to support and execute on critical initiatives across the Legal team.
As a Legal Operations Assistant supporting our Legal team, you will be handling a variety of professional and personal responsibilities, including expenses, travel, and calendaring. You are very organised and thrive off of enabling the people you support to be as productive and impactful as possible. You’ll leverage your excellent communication skills, and exercise tact and diplomacy in helping to manage relationships with stakeholders both internal and external to Palantir. In this role, you'll also demonstrate good judgment and strategic thinking by understanding competing priorities and prioritising accordingly.Core ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative support to the Legal team at Palantir, including support for complex calendaring, travel arrangements, and expensesTriage and execution of legal workflows in issue and project tracking softwareProvide in office support including arranging any couriers, fillings, maintaining and organising team resourcesHelp plan, support, and execute office events and external gatheringsWork both autonomously and in collaboration with teammates, colleagues, and external contactsWhat We ValueAbility to pivot quickly, anticipate needs, and execute autonomously, with strong attention to detailAbility to multi-task, prioritise, and have a high sense of urgencyExcellent communication skills and perceptivenessAbility to interact with a wide range of teams internally and externally with thoughtfulness and tactHigh level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion in both internal and external interactionsWillingness to proactively engage and learn new processesA “no task too big, no task too small” mentalityAbility to work a varied schedule, including outside standard business hours, based on the needs of the teamExperience with working with a global team preferredWhat We RequireAt least two years of previous administrative or personal support experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment and/or in support of a legal teamExcellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Experience with scheduling complex international and domestic travel itinerariesLife at Palantir
