The Legal Performance Analyst sits within Chubb Global Claims Vendor Management, and is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating the performance of law firms utilized by Chubb, identifying areas of improvement, assessing their overall value to the organization, and implementing strategies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. As a leader in the Claims Vendor Management organization, this person will partner with Claims disciplines, and other key internal stakeholders to utilize data to monitor law firm performance. This role will provide key actionable information and make strategic recommendations concerning law firm usage, as well as engage in leadership level discussions with firm management concerning performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular performance reviews of law firm service and quality. Collect and analyze data related to law firm performance, including metrics such as case outcomes, legal costs, cycle times, budget adherence, client satisfaction, and other key performance indicators. Use key performance indicators to identify trends, patterns, and areas for opportunity. Develop performance reports to communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders, including claims managers and executives. Collaborate with internal teams to identify and define performance criteria, develop methodologies for evaluating law firm performance, and develop strategies to address performance gaps. Collaborate with Data Analytics, IT, and other departments to develop, monitor and assess performance of individual law firms and lawyers at law firms. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in legal performance management. Identify opportunities for improvement within law firm relationships, recommending strategies to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Juris Doctorate degree.Strong understanding of legal processes, procedures, and industry standards.Ability to manage and oversee multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, results oriented environment, accepting ownership and accountability of the process and delivering on commitments.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.Experience in performance management, defining service level and performance expectations, and data analysis within the legal industry, preferred.Strong computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft products (especially Excel); knowledge of e-billing software a plus.Limited travel.
