Position:Legal Shared Services, Associate
Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Legal Shared Services Specialist to join our team. The individual in this role will be responsible for managing representations and certifications, maintaining UCC filings, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and contractual obligations, and supporting the overall function of the legal department. The successful candidate will have a strong legal background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Review, prepare, and manage all representations and certifications required by the company’s contracts and regulatory frameworks.Maintain and ensure the accuracy of UCC (Uniform Commercial Code) filings to protect company interests.Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.Maintain a centralized repository of all representations and certifications and ensure timely renewals and updates.Manage and update information in key databases, including SAM.gov, to ensure compliance and eligibility for government contracts.Collaborate with various internal departments, including compliance, procurement, quality and finance, to gather necessary information and ensure accurate submissions.Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and adjust practices and documentation accordingly.Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on representations and certifications processes and requirements.Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.Support the legal team in various other tasks as needed, including research, documentation, audit support and administrative duties.

What You'll Need

3-5 years of related experience.Ability to communicate fluently in English.Understanding of legal documentation, contract management, and regulatory compliance.Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all management levels.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a corporate legal department or legal shared services environment.Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.Familiarity with contract management software systems and processes.
