**Job Reference Number:** **31225** **Employment Type:** **Full-Time** **,** **Hybrid** **Segment:** **Elior Corporate** **Brand:** **Elior North America Corporate** **State:** **Minnesota (US-MN)** **The role at a glance:** The Legal Specialist (“LS”) provides support to the Associate General Counsel to ensure compliance with established Legal processes and procedures. The LS is responsible for ensuring that proposals, contracts, amendments, and other legal documents meet ENA legal standards. The LS will build key relationships both within the legal department and interdepartmentally to foster collaboration and productivity. The LS will collaborate within the legal department on project work and provide administrative support for the company’s liquor and tobacco licensing activity. **What you'll be doing:** + Draft contracts, amendments, renewals, letters of understanding, and correspondence; + Perform legal review and provide legal clarifications for Request for Proposals; + Perform legal review of client drafted contract agreements and negotiate non-standard terms with business unit teams and outside party; + Complete liquor and tobacco licensing applications and work with internal and external counsel and licensing agencies; + Review and assign tasks as appropriate to legal team or applicable support function via Zendesk; + Ensure compliance and accuracy of legal requests with all department processes and workflows to maintain efficiency and effectiveness; + Contribute to training materials and sessions in support of business unit teams and ENA leadership; + Provide excellent customer service to the field while balancing competing tasks; + Assist with both legal and interdepartmental projects; and + Perform other tasks as assigned. **What we’re looking for:** _Must-haves:_ + 5+ years legal experience + Paralegal certificate or Bachelor's degree is required + Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks and assignments in a fast-paced environment + Ability to work independently, and in a team, to complete complex projects + Highly adaptable, resourceful, and detail oriented + Effective critical thinker and solution-based problem solver + Excellent written/verbal communications skills/customer service skills + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) + Experience with development and testing of databases _Nice-to-haves:_ + Experience with contracts + Highly self-motivated team player and able to take directions from others + Ability to interpret complex legal terms **Compensation:** $60-70k/yr. dependent on experience. **Our Benefits:** + Medical (FT Employees) + Dental + Vision + Voluntary UNUM offering for Accident, Critical Illness and Hospital Indemnity + Discount Program + Commuter Benefits (Parking and Transit) + EAP + 401k + Sick Time + Holiday Pay (9 paid holidays) + Tuition Reimbursement (FT Employees) + Paid Time Off **\#indeedelior** \#LIGG1 **About Elior North America:** Elior North America is an equal opportunity employer.
