OVERVIEW
CCS is looking for a motivated technical professional to join our team as a Level 1 Desktop Support Technician! The technician is primarily responsible for quick response to deskside support tickets, addressing administration's needs. The technician will collaborate with fellow district IT staff members, Custom team members and third-party vendors.
Pay for this position is between $39,000-$45,000 annually. Salary will be determined by many factors including but not limited to qualifications, technical experience and customer service skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Actively address tickets in the system, update, and close tickets
+ Support the staff and educational needs of a school building(s)
+ Prioritize daily activities including tickets and administrative requests
+ Support Windows workstations
+ Troubleshoot laptops and desktops, optimize, reimage, or update ticket for repair
+ Install and troubleshoot peripherals like printers, scanners and interactive boards in an enterprise environment
+ Perform other job-related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
+ K-12 experience desired
+ A+ certification, industry recognized support certification
+ 1-2 years’ experience in hardware and software support
+ Excellent customer service skills
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
+ Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting skills including currently supported Windows OS, networking, wired and Wi-Fi installation and troubleshooting
+ Knowledge of Windows troubleshooting and repair
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, print queues, file shares
+ Knowledgeable on software installations
+ Knowledge of the Internet and Microsoft Office

+ Client contract renewal / Customer Satisfaction rating.
+ Technical Certifications
+ 230 days/billable/year (fulfillment of contract)
+ Regularly scheduled account updates to Manager
