Siemens eMobility® solutions is shaping the market with innovative Electric Vehicle (EV) charging technologies. We are dedicated to driving an open and accessible market for electric vehicles, as well as planning and implementing secure grid connections to enable further growth of EV adoption. 

We are seeking a Level 3 Engineering Manager- EV Charging in Wendell NC or Atlanta GA. The L3 Engineering Manager leads the eMobility engineering team in resolving complex customer technical issues for the North America product portfolio, acting as the electric vehicle charging infrastructure center of competency lead and final escalation point.

You will make an impact with the following duties:

Managing team workload and maintaining product competency.Resolving top-tier technical escalations. Collaborating cross-functionally to deliver complete customer solutions. Reviewing and approving field repair plans and training materials. Providing field issue analytics for product improvement.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related electrical trade certifications. A minimum 5 years of field experience with the following: Power distribution, power electronics, PLC / SCADA devices & programming, UPS systems, or other related industrial electrical equipment diagnostics. Electric vehicle charging technologies, in either design or installation services & field diagnostics. Proven experience in managing time and material resources Knowledge of relevant standards (e.g., SAE J1772, CCS, ISO 15118, UL, NEC, IEEE). Proven ability to lead a technical team in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Firm understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OCPP, BACnet, and others) Demonstrable ability to use a laptop as a diagnostic tool (networking diagnostics, pushing local FW/SW updates, using Siemens platforms to engage with hardware devices, etc) Fundamental understanding of NEC standards

The pay range for this position is - $100,450 - $172,200 plus incentive. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
