An exciting opportunity has arisen within the MiChild group, we are currently looking for enthusiastic and passionate Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurses to work in our beautiful Manchester City Centre based nursery. If you are highly motivated, flexible, experienced in working in Early Years and you have a genuine interest in working with children, then this is the role for you! Essential Requirements + NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Childcare and Education or equivalent. + Must be passionate and possess a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for the children attending the setting. + To have a can-do attitude and be adaptable to the needs of the nursery and company. + To have a firm and broad understanding of the EYFS Statutory requirements and how to implement these. Key Responsibilities + To prioritise the safeguarding of all children, staff and families that have access to the setting. + To promote a fun, high-quality environment for all children in our care. + Ensuring the Welfare and Learning development requirements of all children are met at all times. + To confidently and respectfully work in partnership with parents and carers. + Undertake a shared responsibility for the health and safety of the nursery. + Ensure all children are clean, loved and happy at all times. + Adhere to all Policies and Procedures set out by the company. + Be fully aware of all emergency and security procedures relating to the nursery. + Take pride in the delivery of exciting and age-appropriate activities. + To confidently carry out planning, observations and next steps for your key group. + To ensure mealtimes is a time of pleasant social sharing. + To fully comply with our Confidentiality policy. + To fully understand and promote the company's Ethos and Core Values. + To be a key player to ensure the nursery receives excellent outcomes in internal audits and those of external authorities such as Ofsted. + To use initiative at all times.
