Level Sales Specialist - Yanbu

Job Summary: 

The Sales specialist is responsible for building knowledge and belief in the sales channel for the assigned products and solutions. This role provides product and application expertise helping customers to tackle specific problems and pains. They support account managers in customer presentations, demonstrations, trials, and they document the benefits of key application solutions to enable scaling across regions, customers and segments!

The primary responsibility will be to Develop and grow Level business in Refineries, Petrochemicals, and other diversified process industries like Chemical, Power, W&WW and other secondary process industries like F&B, pharma, Paints, lube oil plants etc. in the West Province Saudi Arabia with positioning Emerson Level portfolio as the Supplier of First Choice.

This position is based out of Emerson Yanbu, Saudi Arabia.

 

For this role, your responsibilities will be: 

Key Contribution in Business Growth: Responsible for orders, deliver regional business growth for Level Instruments and systems for the assigned region. Implement the Business growth plan for Level business with regular update on the progress.  Aim for full scope of supply for Emerson Level portfolio i.e. Level Instruments as well as Level Systems within Saudi Arabia and establish Emerson as supplier of first choice.

Product and process application expertise: Provide solution based on product knowledge and application expertise to the sales channel and customers. Present the benefits and differentiation of the products and solutions to customers at all levels. 

Lead generation through solution creation: Close engagement with end-users, assess their requirements and pain-points and suggest appropriate solutions to generate leads with the consultative approach. Identify the target application and design and implement the solution with the help of demos and field trials. After successful implementation, develop the application note. Drive Core differentiation and specifications by "Early Engagement” with end users. Build the application notes and quantifiable business results. Close follow up with customers in supervising the generated leads and convert them into opportunity.

Penetration into diversified industries: Keep the continuous focus and develop relationships with diversified industries customers (Chemical, Power, W&WW etc.) Engagement through product presentation and training to internal and external customers. Support for new product launches and rollouts including promotion seminar/webinars, demonstrations, trials. Provide input on competitive enhancements & positioning, customer preferences, project activity, and other competitive / market data.

Account development: Support industry account managers in developing customer preferences, technology acceptance and product approvals followed by site survey, field trials. 

Remove barriers: Identify and remove barriers to product growth in the region. Identify and raise detailed problems and help as needed to fix tactical problems as they occur.

Customer satisfaction: Ensure customer happiness of the product line by proactively follow-up on key installations or large accounts.

For this role, you will need.

Bachelor’s Degree with 7 -8 years (min) of sales experience in Level Measurement in Hydrocarbon Industry along with other industries.  Good knowledge of Process Level instrumentation Understanding of local approval processes Conversant with HSE requirements in the industry  Must have extensive experience in Oil & Gas along with diverse industries like Refineries, Petrochemical, Chemicals, Fertilizer, Power, W&WW Instrumentation with a proven record of success in sales and marketing management

 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Strong industry credibility and proven success with selling measurement solutions and providing technical support is mandatory. Lead by example in areas of personal character, ethical behavior, field, commitment, organizational, selling skills and work habits. Extensive experience in all aspects of supplier relationship/customer management with a keen and strategic understanding of Measurement Solutions Group and end-user strategy is central. Demonstrates ability to effectively interact, cooperate and communicate (i.e., must has good oral, written and presentation skills) within a multi-layered matrix organization. Work as an active standout colleague with good engagement across the wider organization like regional Sales team, application team, proposals team, product team for developing the optimum solution by site survey, demos and field trials. Active participation in the industry functions, exhibitions, trade shows. Must possess superior “soloing” skills needed to navigate through the Measurement Solutions group Organization and get things done to support strategic customers. Market knowledge, relationships and working experience in assigned countries will be added advantage.
