The **Leveraged** **R&D Specialist** will report to the Innovation Center of Excellence and Emerging Technologies Leader. **The role is full-time, on-site, and will be based at the Experimental Station, Building 336, in Wilmington, DE.** The **Leveraged R&D Specialist** plays a pivotal role in supporting the VP of R&D, the Innovation Center of Excellence and its strategic initiatives, and Emerging Technologies. This position requires a highly organized and proactive individual who can provide day-to-day support while managing multiple projects and processes simultaneously, ensuring efficient delivery of high-quality work products. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as critical thinking capabilities to troubleshoot problems effectively. **Your Key Responsibilities:** **Project and managing process responsibilities include:** + Coordinate, plan and execute the annual, global R&D TechCon and poster session, + Manage R&D people recognition processes (internal and external), + Coordinate the internal marketing, scheduling, planning and execution of training and development initiatives in collaboration with the Innovation Center of Excellence, + Assist with patent data analysis and visualization for leadership, + Assist with the planning and execution for innovation communities / networks associated with the Innovation Center of Excellence (e.g. project management, Lean Innovation), + Support the design, upgrade and administration of collaboration tools sponsored by the Innovation Center of Excellence and Emerging Technologies (e.g. SharePoint, Teams based) + Coordinate Experimental Station site-based events. The responsibilities above will be done in collaboration with the VP of R&D, the Innovation Center of Excellence leadership, R&D Technical Directors, Senior Laureates, Emerging Technologies, and administrative staff. The mix of project and process responsibilities will be dynamic over time and the examples above are illustrative of current year needs. **Day-to-day support activities for the VP of R&D and Innovation Center of Excellence staff include:** + Manage Executive Calendars: Coordinate and manage the schedules of senior executives, ensuring all appointments and meetings are effectively organized. + Prepare Documentation: Draft, edit, and format documents, presentations, and reports for executive meetings and communications. + Organize Travel Arrangements: Arrange and oversee travel logistics, including flights, accommodations, and transportation for executives. + Facilitate Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing correspondence and inquiries. + Purchasing & Expense Support: Support team purchasing and expense processing needs (e.g. S2P, SAP, Concur), including POs, new vendor setup & edits, & web cycle management. + Office Operations: Assist in the management of office supplies, equipment, and facilities to ensure a well-functioning work environment. **Qualifications:** + Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. + A minimum of 5 years of office and/or project management experience in a dynamic environment, preferably in support of senior leadership. + Advanced computer skills are required, especially in Microsoft Office 365, Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint, and Excel. Proficiency in SAP R/3 or another ERP system. + Familiarity with expense management systems (Concur, S2P), SAP and eTime is a significant plus. + Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. + Demonstrated initiative, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and outstanding time management abilities. + Project Management: Familiarity with project management tools and techniques. + R&D Capital: Experience with DuPont capital management systems. (EcoSys SAP) + Professional demeanor with a customer service-oriented mindset. + Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
