LEX Nightclub - Model Marketing Bar Helper

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

GUEST SERVICE/COMMUNICATION

Execute marketing campaigns and strategies as directed by management Appear at scheduled promotional events as directed by management Maintain social media presence in conformity with LEX standards using company provided accounts Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner Anticipate guest needs Adhere to all LEX Standard Operating Procedures Maintain all LEX Sequence of Service Standards Greet all guests promptly, with a friendly and upbeat attitude Provide information to guests regarding our venues, menus and pricing Recognize and cultivate regular guests and repeat business Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through your work area throughout shift Report any incidents of theft, vandalism, or violations to Management Ability to communicate in English with guests and co-workers Provide customers with information and directions Respond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints with a positive attitude.

 

PROMOTIONAL AND MARKETING REQUIREMENTS:

Focuses on the development of a personal clientele list Adheres to all specified marketing requirements and guidelines (guest list, reservations, company provided social media accounts, etc.) Interacts with potential clients in professional, cordial, and exemplary manner Pose for pictures as requested by management, appear in costume or designated logo apparel for promotional activities at or away from venue. Participate and appear in marketing, publicity or media materials in the capacity as instructed. Marketing and promoting venue specific events Must have a Facebook page that will be created for you by company & LEX (ex: John/Jane Doe at LEX Nightclub) Follow up with guests post visit to ensure repeat business Develop personal marketing plan to meet marketing goals as outlined by management Regular participation in out-of-venue promotional events        

 

ENTERTAINMENT ASPECTS:

Must have the ability to participate in all theatrics…including the ability to lift heavy props. Assist in presentation aspects of Bottle service. Must be able to wear different costumes throughout shift. Must be able to assist promotional Model Servers with identifying guests for introduction to other guests.    

 

CLEANING/MAINTENANCE:

Keep the venue clean and free of dirty glasses, dirty ashtrays, trash, etc Keep back bar clean and organized Ensure daily/weekly and opening/running/closing duties are completed Maintain opening/closing liquor, beer, wine and consumables par Record and report any equipment failure and/or safety hazards to a Manager immediately Ensure proper rotation of all liquor, beer, wine and consumable items Maintain LEX Safety and Sanitation Standards Clean all spills and waste immediately Sweep and mop as needed Place all trash in proper receptacles Polish and wash glassware throughout shift Prepares all mixes and garnishes Gets change for registers as required Proper set up and maintenance of banquet function spaces

 

RESPONSIBLE ALCOHOL MANAGEMENT

Recognize and acknowledge when guests are becoming intoxicated and/or are intoxicated Monitor potentially intoxicated and/or disruptive guests and promptly bring to a Manager’s attention Comply with all safety and health department procedures as well as Company and/or departmental policies/procedures Comply with all state and federal liquor laws

 

RESPONSIBILITIES/TEAMWORK/DEPARTMENT

Provide service to Model Marketing Bartenders and Promo Model Marketing Cocktail Servers in a timely manner Related duties as assigned based on extensive experience working in a club and /or entertainment venue Assist all other team members as needed Create and maintain a sense of urgency in executing duties Appear in costume for all shifts and promotional activities at scheduled time Performs other job related duties as assigned Assist with loading/unloading of miscellaneous equipment, such as boxes, food and beverage products Responsible to ensure all stocking is complete, requisitions are filled out and any shortage of stock is reported Inform management of any complaint, comments or incident Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to LEX standards Ability to create and maintain service rapport through the LEX philosophy

 

EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma Required or equivalent 21+ years of age Proof of eligibility to work in the United States Hospitality experience preferred Possession of/or ability to possess a 35 Registration and valid Alcohol Awareness card -Prior promotional modeling experience a plus

 

WORKING KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

Nightclub, bar, lounge operations Liquor, beer and wine Knowledge of drink recipes Working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram Familiarity with “trending” on twitter Proper lifting techniques Inventory and stock rotation Guest relations Sanitation and safety Proper garnish, cutting, and presentation Entry level of high volume nightclub operations Demonstrate a positive attitude at all times Comfort with being photographed for promotional purposes Keep an open and objective view Listen empathetically and be respectful at all times Comfort talking to strangers and making introductions Communicate assertively Maintain composure and stay focused Work as a team, stay organized, multi-task, and prioritize Communicate with employees and guests Maintain confidentiality Consistently maintain a well-groomed appearance, posture, and hygiene Anticipate the needs of the bartender
