Manages the Section, supervises the staff and ensures proper discharge of their duties. Designs and conducts instructional sessions on how to use electronic journals and databases and ensures that newer electronic formats are available and easy to access for library patrons. Conceptualizes plans, programs and projects of the Section and ensures that they are properly implemented. Participates and makes recommendations in the selection of print and non- print resources. Prepares and submits reports and does other related duties as assigned by the supervisors.
