The Special Collections Student Assistant will work directly with the Special Collections Manager in Belmont University’s Archive and Special Collections.  The Student Assistant will be trained and supervised by the Collections Manager.  Some of their duties might include: 

Cataloguing collections Re-house delicate items into appropriate archival structures Creating inventories and data input into computer programsDigitization of collections Help with metadata collection on each digitized pieceResearch on Special Collection itemsOther duties related to work in Special Collections as assigned
