**Job Title: Aircraft Structures Technician**
**Job Description**
As an Aircraft Structures Technician, you will perform structural repairs, including work with sheet metal and composite materials. You will read blueprints to modify or fabricate new parts, and perform inspections, repairs, services, and modifications according to FAA regulations and standards. Your role will involve scheduled and special inspections, correcting discrepancies, servicing systems, and assembling parts and components.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform structural repairs on sheet metal and composite materials.
+ Read blueprints to modify or fabricate new parts.
+ Conduct inspections, repairs, services, and modifications according to FAA regulations.
+ Perform scheduled and special inspections, correct discrepancies, and service systems.
+ Determine malfunctions using standard tests and diagnostic equipment.
+ Remove, inspect, assemble, and install major helicopter components and parts.
+ Service aircraft systems and support towing, parking, mooring, and storage of aircraft.
+ Maintain paperwork on job performed, materials used, tasks performed, and time used.
+ Provide on-the-job training for co-workers as assigned.
+ Travel as assigned to perform maintenance and support company or customer-owned aircraft.
+ Work a 4-day, 10-hour per day shift from 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM if required.
+ Support the shop with components wrapping, unwrapping, crating, and uncrating.
+ Document work performed on the computer.
+ Follow FOD inspection criteria, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5-7 years of aviation experience.
+ Experience with repairs of helicopter dynamic components is a plus.
+ Ability to follow instructions and work under minimal supervision.
+ Proficiency in documenting work performed on computers.
+ Knowledge of AS9100 regulations.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ No licenses required; contract employees will sign off under repair station number.

**Work Environment**
FAA Part 145 Completions & Repair Facility with a focus on maintaining high standards and adhering to regulations. The work schedule involves a 4-day, 10-hour per day shift from 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM if required.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.
