Overview Provides professional psychotherapy services at assigned clinical sites or Jack Brown Center within the boundaries of competence based on education, training, supervised experience, state, and national professional credentials, and appropriate professional experience. Provides after-hour “on-call” coverage for the WW Hastings Hospital Emergency Room. Qualifications EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT Must possess a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or another field of study enabling LBHP status. No exceptions. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS No experience required. COMPUTER SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual should know Database software, Internet software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. Must meet and maintain pre-employment and periodic background investigation and adjudication for child care. Must possess and maintain current license to practice in the state of Oklahoma within one (1) of the following areas of practice: Psychology, Social Work (License Clinical Social Worker Only), Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Behavioral Practitioner, or Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Must possess and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Can be obtained during orientation. Approval from the appropriate licensing authority to supervise LBHP Candidates preferred. Must possess and maintain certification and training for any assessment that requires it to be administered and interpreted. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS Employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Attorney General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG’s Cumulative Sanction Report or the GSA’s List of Excluded Providers or listed on the OIG’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE). Ability to speak Cherokee a plus. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. Some may be required to work some evenings.
