Nuevo Camino is seeking a clinician who will be responsible for conducting assessments and providing individualized evidence-based treatment to children enrolled in the Unaccompanied Minors Program. The clinician will also be responsible for facilitating group and family therapy sessions.
Serves as role model for program participants.
Remains sensitive and responsive to cultural differences of program participants and staff.
Participates in in-service training and on-site workshops as required for professional growth and development. Attends external training and workshops at the direction of management.
Represents the organization both within and outside of the work environment in a manner that promotes the mission, vision and values of the agency. Adheres to organizational mission, vision and values, in addition to all other agency policies and procedures.
Conducts assessments, standardized screens and develops treatment plans. Including 1x month session within the foster home.
Participates in supervision and training to build professional growth, ensure accountability, and quality services for children in the Unaccompanied Minor Program
Completes documentation in compliance with the Office of Mental Health, state, federal and HMO regulations.
Provides crisis intervention services and safety plans as needed.
Works collaboratively with collateral contacts, team members, and internal and external providers and documents all accordingly.
Maintains a weekly schedule and completes all documentation.
Participate in agency-wide and internal meetings, activities and trainings.
