Licensed Clinician (LCSW/LMFT)
We are looking for a part time/full time Licensed Clinician to work in an outpatient clinic in Redwood City, Ca. The clinic focuses on psychiatric stabilization and competency restoration for patients newly deemed incompetent to stand trial. This treatment model emphasizes stabilization and customizes care to meet individual needs, based on evaluations by a multi-disciplinary treatment team. How You Make a Difference As a Licensed Certified Social Worker, you will oversee various social work activities. These include screening, diagnostic evaluations, and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as brief therapy and crisis intervention for patients. Your role ensures compliance with licensure standards and state and federal regulations, while delivering high-quality care to those in need. Key Responsibilities + Coordinate work assignments, provide technical assistance, and develop program plans in line with laws, regulations, and certification standards. + Conduct intake evaluations, assess treatment needs, and offer mental health services to patients in the jail setting, including medication management and crisis intervention. + Participate in treatment team meetings, CQI/QA studies, and staff training on mental health topics. + Document findings in patient records, adhere to safety policies and procedures, and engage in peer review activities. + Assist in the interview process, orientation, and training of new employees, and provide performance evaluations and training for direct reports.
