Requirements:

Journeyperson Red Seal Electrician with Industrial experienceStrong background in instrumentationStrong knowledge in PLC 5, RS Logic, Allen Bradley controls, Device Net, Ethernet and RS View background especially around installations and troubleshootingBackground knowledge in Frequency drives especially with 1336 plus and Powerflex3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably Food ProcessingExcellent communication skills; verbal, written, listeningMust be able to work shift work (12hr), including evenings and weekendsMust be a team player, willing to participate and leadProven ability to work independently, and to prioritize tasks with a keen sense of urgencyMechanical experience and background would be considered an assetPrevious Supervision/leadership roles an asset.

 

Duties:

Electrical maintenance and repair on processing and packaging equipmentElectrical maintenance and repair on all factory buildings.Lay out, assemble, install, repair and maintain equipment or components exposed to direct/indirect contact with electricityEnsure that all Health and Safety standards are understood and practiced to ensure that all work is being completed in a safe manner. Ability to read and follow blueprints and electrical schematics
