Silver Oak Academy is located on a scenic 78-acre campus surrounded by sprawling corn fields, beautiful woods full of local wildlife and foliage, a football stadium, an athletic center (gymnasium, padded wrestling room, a fully equipped weight room & more), a Tech Center, student housing for 96 youth, and an academic building all just a short commute from Frederick, Baltimore & DC. On site dormitories are available for staff use during their shift and overnight for those with a long commute, or limited transportation.

Pay: starting at $80,000/year

What you will do: Our Lead Therapist will be responsible for oversight in the clinical department. Our Lead therapists are responsible for overall delivery and implementation of each individual Client Treatment Plan, attending Child and Family Team meetings and treatment team meetings, and completing assessments, Client Treatment Plans and reports as required by the county and state.  This position reports to the Clinical Director or other designated supervisor. 

To be considered you should:

Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect. Have a Master’s Degree and licensure in the field of mental health as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Have at least 1 year of prior experience working in a residential setting for children/NMD, their families or s and/or the Juvenile Justice/Child Welfare System. Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.

Schedule: Will require some weeknights and weekends worked
