From comprehensive training to providing necessary protective equipment, we're committed to creating a secure environment for you as you deliver exceptional care in our clients' homes. **What you will do:** Work as a Massage Therapist for our Hospice Patients in rural areas. **Responsibilities:** + The Massage Therapist is an important member of our health care team, serving Hospice patients in Home Care, Nursing Home or Inpatient settings. + Responsible for direct care and evaluation of patients, with resultant formulation and implementation of treatment program as appropriate to the specific needs of that patient. + Responsible for calling patients/caregivers to offer and schedule services + This position will be part-time 16-20 hours per week. + Flexible Schedule **What you will need:** + A current license to practice as a Massage Therapist in the state of New York + Graduate of an approved Massage Therapy Program + Prefer two years professional experience in massage therapy discipline required + Previous home care and hospice experience preferred. + Possession of a valid New York State driver’s license and available automobile for travel throughout the service area. + Experience working with computers, including laptops, email, cell phone and basic software programs along with confidence in providing electronic clinical notes and documentation regarding patient sessions. + Availability to complete computer-based mandatory education requirements through the course of the year + High level of interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers Pay Range: $24.85 - $31.00 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
