We’re looking for Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to work in our Ogdensburg Behavioral Health Clinic.

Responsibilities include working under general supervision to handle intake and screening procedures for new clients, conducting thorough assessments and diagnoses to evaluate client strengths, needs, and capabilities. This involves delivering a range of services such as psychotherapy aimed at addressing aspects of human development and behavior to support personal and social well-being.

One will collaborate with clients to formulate person-centered, strength-focused treatment plans, and will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, including comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and referrals to alternative care levels or community services. Ensuring the timely and precise completion of documentation as mandated by the New York State Office of Mental Health regulations is essential, along with managing electronic charts through proficient computer skills for clinical documentation entry and correspondence preparation.

Additional responsibilities may consist of participating in educational programs and meeting continued education requirements to uphold licensure, maintaining flexibility in working hours to accommodate program demands, and meeting productivity benchmarks set by the Director of Behavioral Health Services, alongside any other assigned tasks.

The starting salary for this position ranges from $30.75-$32.59 per hour, based on experience.
