Maine Veterans’ Homes is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to serving Maine’s veterans and families.  Our vision is to be the Provider and Employer of Choice while recognizing our special role as a Veteran Advocate, and “Caring for Those Who Served.”  All six of our facilities have been recognized by the American Health Care Association with awards for Achievement in Quality, placing them in the top five percent of nursing homes across the nation.

Work With The Best - MVH - Scarborough is proud to be the first nursing home in Maine to achieve the National Gold Award for Excellence in Quality from the American Health Care Association, making us one of only 49 nursing homes in the nation to ever earn this prestigious distinction.

The role of the RN/LPN is to provide direct care and treatments, supervise the activities of the direct care staff, and help ensure fulfillment of plans of care according to MVH quality standards, promoting the highest quality of nursing services.
