We are seeking a motivated and passionate LPTA to join our team of dedicated rehabilitation professionals as we help our patients regain their strength and mobility. This position will work Monday – Friday, 40 hours a week including two late evenings until 7pm.

The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant 1 adheres to department policies regarding time frame, appropriate form, and content of written rehabilitation documentation. Communicates effectively with patients, family, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts. Completes all administrative and other responsibilities in support of the operating unit. Demonstrates essential skill in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols. Performs reassessments according to state and facility guidelines, while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
Schedule: M-F, 40 hours a week, two evening shifts until 7:pm.

Requirements:
Experience: New graduate of a licensed physical therapy assistant program.
Education: Associate's degree from a licensed physical therapy assistant program.
Licensure: Currently licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Virginia.
Certification: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
