Responsibilities*

The Rogel Cancer Center is dedicated to providing high quality health care services to adults in a highly complex clinic setting. We are actively seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and patient-oriented individual who will share in the goal of creating the ideal experience for our patients, families and fellow staff. Responsibilities*

The role on the Rogel Cancer Center GoldTeam will include, but not be limited to: working with a multidisciplinary clinical and administrative team to support, injections, procedures, patient care, forms completion, clinic & infusion preparation, coverage for other Rogel Cancer Center LPN?s, assist consulting services and complete delegated patient calls. 

Must be able to prep/assist with various procedures, obtain diagnostic results from our clinical information system, manage prescription renewals and obtain authorizations with delegation protocols.

Required Qualifications*

Graduation from an accredited School of Practical Nursing 

Current licensure as an LPN in the State of Michigan. 

Two (2) years or more of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a clinic/ambulatory care setting

Desired Qualifications*

Experience in working with a hematology or oncology patient population

Experience in an ambulatory clinic setting

Expertise with injections

Experience with an electronic medical record

Proficiency with computer skills including keyboarding

Work Schedule

Hours/Week: 20 hours per week *The department is able to hire as a 1.0 (40hrs) if needed.
Shift/Hours/Days: Day shift, / Monday - Friday. Evenings and rotating Saturdays may be required if future clinic realignments occur.
Location: Rogel Comprehensive Cancer Center, Gold Team
