Licensed Practical Nurse – Emergency Department – UPMC McKeesport

UPMC McKeesport’s Emergency Department is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team! Rotating shifts are required, along with holidays and weekends.

This position is eligible for a generous sign-on bonus! 
Sign-On Bonus Details:
$10,000 for new graduates with less than one year of experience
 $12,500 for for experienced LPNs with one or more years of experience
Candidates hired into a sign-on bonus eligible role will be asked to make a two-year work commitment.

The LPN provides highly competent patient care and treatment while demonstrating empathy and a passion for learning. A role that requires independent judgment, fluent communication, and candid partnership, the LPN establishes relationships with physicians, other care providers, patients, and patient’s families to achieve desired patient outcomes throughout the continuum of care.

Ability to work productively and effectively within a complex environment, handle multiple/changing priorities and specialized equipment. Mobility and visual manual dexterity. Physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting and positioning of patients. Computer skills required to utilize the electronic health record.
