Under the general supervision of a registered nurse, and following established policies and procedures, provides patient care to mentally ill child, adolescent, and adult patients with eating disorders. Responsible for collecting patient data and participating in treatment planning. Communicates with patients based on an understanding of the different developmental needs of children/adolescents and adults. Administers medications and medical treatment as prescribed by physician. Documents and reports patient progress to treatment team.

Graduation from an accredited program of nursing and current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Maryland at the time of appointment and continuously throughout tenure in position (or must be eligible to obtain LPN licensure by time of hire).
LPNs are required to work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday). Experience in psychiatric nursing preferred. All new clinical staff will begin their extended clinical orientation/training immediately following your first day of employment.#IND123
