Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. The role involves endorsing, interpreting, and enforcing the objectives and procedures of the nursing department. You will plan, direct, coordinate, delegate, and evaluate the activities of all nursing personnel within the assigned area.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily conferences with unit staff to review and communicate recent policy and procedure changes.Extend courtesy to all unit visitors.Coordinate with appropriate personnel to ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available on the assigned unit.Provide consultation for unit personnel, resolve immediate problems, and communicate actions to the Unit Supervisor.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a structured orientation program running Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. You must be able to attend without exceptions. Shifts are divided into day (7:30am to 3:30pm), evening (3:30pm to 11:30pm), and night (11:30pm to 7:30am). Holiday pay is provided for work up to 7.5 hours. This facility, which employs over 200 contingent workers, offers a supportive and inclusive workplace, emphasizing equal opportunity. Dress code is professional attire.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $44.00/hr.
