You hold a casual permanent position (8-20hrs/week).You can benefit from a free LASIK surgery & RRSP match, as well as 3 weeks of vacation, 3 sick days, 1 floater day & 1 wellness day.You work with experts in Ophthalmology and you can count yourself as a team member of one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.You have the opportunity to take advantage of our cutting-edge in-house training.Your tasks at a glance    You connect the patient to devices such as monitoring equipment, and intravenous therapy for fluids and pain medication.You are tasked with patient observation & pain intervention.You monitor patients when they are still under the effects of anesthesia.You rigorously carry out all the administrative tasks associated with the position (complete notes on the charts, communicate information in writing or orally, and complete any form required by the establishment).You perform any other task requested by the center director or the management team. A clear view of your assets     You are a Licensed Practical Nurse registered with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta.You have an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.Your experience in the field of ophthalmology and/or optometry is considered an asset.You have a definite interest in the field of health and high-tech devices.You thrive in a dynamic environment and when working in a team.Schedule: You have flexible work availability from Monday & Tuesday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.Required: You are comfortable traveling between our LASIK MD South, LASIK MD North West & King LASIK locations.From our point of view     If you think you are the right candidate for this position and are ready to join a passionate and dedicated team, apply now.
