Kapi'olani Medical Specialists (KMS) is a specialty physician group dedicated to caring for Hawai'i's women and children through excellence in academics, physician training, medical research and clinical care. The Kapi‘olani Women's Cancer Center is the only facility of its kind in the state and is dedicated to the prevention and treatment of gynecologic cancers, including ovarian, endometrial, cervical, vulva, and vaginal cancers. Kapi‘olani strives to provide the highest level of women's cancer care in Hawai‘i and the Women's Cancer Center supports a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to cancer care, addressing all aspects of a woman's treatment, from her physical health to her mental and emotional well-being. In addition, the Center offers patients the opportunity to participate in state-of-the-art clinical trials in collaboration with the Cancer Research Center of Hawai‘i and the National Cancer Institute. Our highly qualified, multidisciplinary team includes board-certified, fellowship-trained GYN oncologists, medical and radiation oncologists, licensed and certified oncology nurses, a gynecologic oncology coordinator to educate patients and assist women through their individualized care plan, certified genetic counselors and other support services. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will help to provide our signature compassionate, high quality care to patients and their families. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting physicians in providing care to patients of all ages in accordance with standards of practice and training for a Licensed Practical Nurse.
